Part Finishing

Another in-house capability includes de-burring the freshly manufactured parts right after stamping. Depending on the part material and finish requirements, our de-burring equipment uses ceramic or other substrates to remove sharp edges or prepare the surface for further finishing or treatment.

Research Tool & Die Works also houses a powder coating facility. Once parts complete preparation for coating, they pass through our powder coating spray booth and proceed through oven curing. Product surface requirements can range from pure esthetics to coatings that meet harsh environments such as salt air, wind abrasion, or chemical contact.

Packaging

Packaging is not considered an afterthought at Research Tool & Die. Bulk or individual packing, installation environment, part finish protection, shipping weights, carrier selection and logistics communication are specified with every program at Research Tool & Die Works. Are your parts going to an assembly line or being installed in the field? Do the parts need to be identified quickly for receiving and use? Our goal is to make your program as efficient as possible and contribute with solutions, not problems.

Fulfillment

We utilize our warehouse space to stock finished parts that are frequently used in small quantities or raw material to decrease production times. This added benefit supports our customer focused order fulfillment. Research Tool & Die Works can either manufacture quickly or ship immediately, instead of supplying customer dreaded excuses or excessive lead times.
