Research Tool & Die Works is not about "going green". We have been manufacturing innovations that reduce waste and save energy for years. Recycling is not a new concept at RT&D. We have been active metal recyclers for more than 50 years. At Research Tool & Die Works we recycle hundreds of thousands of pounds of metals annually.
Metal formers have always been on the forefront of recycling. However, being future friendly is a continuous process and Research Tool & Die Works continues to look forward. We recently had a state-of-the-art, 225 KW solar energy system installed on our roof. The system produces more energy in any given month, than we use producing our parts. It is a win-win situation. We removed our demand for electricity during peak times and significantly reduced our carbon emissions, saving ourselves money and helping provide a better future for everyone.
